A new chapter

Its been an interesting few months. It all started before Christmas, I was attending a local craft market at Tredegar House in my home town, where a gentleman next to me was selling laser cut Christmas decorations. I was amazed at the design and quality. After talking to him off and on for 3 hours I knew I needed a laser machine. The chance to be able to cut out the middle man opened up so many possibilies for me.
However it wasnt long before I realised it wasnt going to be as easy as I thought. I'm lucky to have an understanding husband who was prepared to do the ground work of sourcing a laser that can be used in a small box room and one that his wife can use.
After a few months of looking and researching different lasers we finally found the machine for us.
But I'm not happy enough with just the laser I want to change the whole business as well, what was the point in spending all this money and not do things properly! so ive decided on a new website and a new name.
I'll give you a bit of background story on the business, I started Gifts-r-us back in 2005, the business was only meant as a stop gap whilst my daughter was a baby. I would sell on ebay to make some money and it soon developed into something bigger, having my own website and selling on handmade selling platforms. It wasnt a huge earner but it enabled me to work from home and spend quality time with my children.
Now here we are!
So its all change, a new chapter for my little empire.
